Richard M. Schroder
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Rich founded Anova Consulting Group in 2004. He is dedicated to ensuring that Anova provides the strategic insights clients need to make continuous improvement in the areas of product development, marketing, sales and client service.
Rich is a recognized thought leader in the business to business sales and client satisfaction sector and he is a sought-after speaker who has published many highly-regarded articles in professional journals. He also is the author of “From a Good Sales Call to a Great Sales Call,” which focuses on win loss analysis. Published by McGraw-Hill, the book is available internationally and has recently been translated into Mandarin.
Prior to founding Anova Consulting Group, Rich served as Managing Director at Chatham Partners, a market research and consulting firm. In that capacity, he was responsible for business development and client relationship management. He previously held positions at State Street Corporation and H.C. Wainwright.
Rich and his wife have two young children and live in the Greater Boston area. The son of an international banker, he traveled extensively in his youth and lived in a number of countries in the Middle East and Africa. In his free time, he enjoys fitness training and playing basketball. He has run two marathons. Rich is also a musician and songwriter. Before entering the business world he toured the country as a guitarist and vocalist in a band.
Rich is a graduate of Boston College, where he earned a BS in Finance, with honors. He holds an MBA, also with honors, from the Babson Graduate School of Business.
Heather B. Jenkins
Heather Jenkins is a Managing Partner at Anova, where she leads the firm’s client-facing Engagement Management team and is a key member of Anova’s global Financial Services practice.
Heather has deep expertise and experience in B2B voice of the customer research, having worked with some of the industry’s top financial institutions and strategic leaders over the past two decades. Her team’s focus is helping all clients maximize the value and impact of Anova’s research, through tailored program design proven to improve win rates and increase revenue retention.
In addition to her time at Anova, Heather previously worked as the Director of Client Service at Chatham Partners, having spent the early part of her career at Sun Life Financial. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Colby College, where she graduated with honors.
Heather and her husband live in Boston and have three daughters. She is an active volunteer with several non-profit organizations, including a community preschool that she helped to get started.
Andrew M. Cloutier
Andrew is responsible for new business development and the generation of insights in the design and execution of Anova’s client deliverables.
Prior to joining Anova, Andrew was a Consultant at Bain & Company, working on strategy engagements across a number of industries and functional areas. Andrew also worked in the internal consulting group at Fidelity Investments, partnering with senior leaders across the company to address strategy development and business transformation challenges.
Andrew graduated from Williams College with a BA in Economics and he earned an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Thomas A. Clough
Tom is responsible for managing program engagements and building long-term relationships with Anova’s financial services clients. He is an experienced leader in the retirement plan services business.
During his 40 year career, he has been responsible for most aspects of the qualified and non-qualified retirement plan business including relationship management, ERISA DC and DB consulting and compliance services, participant services, technology, and plan administration. He also has managed the relationship of several large institutional financial services clients.
Tom earned his BA in Mathematics From Plymouth State University. He also is an Enrolled Actuary.
Director of Client Management
Zach began his career at Anova starting as a Research Analyst and has progressed to become a Director of Client Management, where he uses his experience and extensive history working on win / loss engagements to help his clients understand the nuance of their data. Zach specializes in analyzing program data to pinpoint key insights and trends that are strategic and actionable for his clients. Additionally, Zach is involved in business development for Anova, managing the Company’s branding and marketing efforts and his research has been featured in industry publications.
Zach grew up in Connecticut before coming to Massachusetts for school. He lives in downtown Boston and is a passionate fan of the sports teams in the city.
Zach graduated Cum Laude from Babson College, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Management.
Director of Client Research & Insights
Wayne oversees Anova’s reporting function to ensure the consistent delivery of actionable insights while maintaining the Company’s high standards of data accuracy and analysis. His responsibilities also include fostering client relationships and managing engagements with Anova’s clients by utilizing his years of experience in front of the client.
Wayne has been conducting research for over 20 years and has worked in a number of verticals, including financial services, high-tech, healthcare, media and entertainment, and consumer goods. His career has required him to analyze qualitative and quantitative datasets and weave data-driven stories for audiences from research teams to C-level and everywhere in between.
Prior to joining Anova, Wayne worked on the partner side for Invoke and Cspace, and on the client side at Welch Foods, Inc. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in English at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Wayne is born-and-raised in Massachusetts and lives in a suburb of Boston with his wife, two sons, and two dogs. He enjoys travelling when he gets the chance and is a pop culture junkie whose tastes can be best described as “eclectic” – equally likely to be sitting down with a good book or watching the latest episode of his favorite “trashy” reality show.
Brendon is an Engagement Manager responsible for building and maintaining long-term partnerships with Anova’s financial services and technology clients. His responsibilities also include identifying and communicating actionable insights to help clients win and retain more business. Brendon draws on his 25 years of research and consulting experience to drive value for Anova’s clients.
Prior to joining Anova, Brendon was a Client Engagement Director at AIRINC, where he managed a diverse portfolio of US-based and international client partnerships. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Villanova University.
Brendon was born and raised in Connecticut and now resides outside Boston with his wife and twin daughters. He loves to travel, has visited over sixty countries for business and pleasure, and hopes to add many more.
