Rich founded Anova Consulting Group in 2004. He is dedicated to ensuring that Anova provides the strategic insights clients need to make continuous improvement in the areas of product development, marketing, sales and client service.

Rich is a recognized thought leader in the business to business sales and client satisfaction sector and he is a sought-after speaker who has published many highly-regarded articles in professional journals.  He also is the author of “From a Good Sales Call to a Great Sales Call,” which focuses on win loss analysis.  Published by McGraw-Hill, the book is available internationally and has recently been translated into Mandarin.

Prior to founding Anova Consulting Group, Rich served as managing director at Chatham Partners, a market research and consulting firm.  In that capacity, he was responsible for business development and client relationship management.  He previously held positions at State Street Corporation and H.C. Wainwright.

Rich and his wife have two young children and live in the Greater Boston area.  The son of an international banker, as a youth, he traveled extensively and lived in a number of countries in the Middle East and Africa.  In his free time, he enjoys fitness training and playing basketball and he has run two marathons.  Rich is also a musician and songwriter.  Before entering the business world he toured the country as a guitarist and vocalist in a band.

Rich is a graduate of Boston College, where he earned a BS in Finance, with honors. He holds an MBA, also with honors, from the Babson Graduate School of Business.

Heather oversees all of Anova’s market research programs and is responsible for the design, execution and analysis phases of our work.  From project kickoff to the presentation of our findings, she is focused on the delivery of high-quality, actionable research and analysis.

Prior to joining Anova, Heather served as director of client services at Chatham Partners.  In that capacity, she was responsible for managing projects, supervising teams of analysts and managing client relationships.  Earlier in her career, she worked at SunLife Financial.

Heather and her husband live in Boston and have three young daughters.  She is an active volunteer with several non-profit organizations and is chairman of the board of the Good Shepherd School in Charlestown, Massachusetts, a bilingual school she helped establish in 2009 in response to community need.

Heather is a graduate of Colby College where she earned a BA in Economics and Mathematics, with honors.

Andrew is responsible for building and managing long-term relationships with Anova’s clients, using his strategy background to provide a highly consultative approach to market research.

Prior to joining Anova, Andrew worked in the internal consulting group at Fidelity Investments, partnering with senior leaders across the company to address strategy development and business transformation challenges.  Earlier in his career, he was a consultant at Bain & Company, working on strategy engagements in a number of industries and functional areas.

Andrew was born and raised in New Orleans and lives in the Greater Boston area with his wife and two young sons.

Andrew graduated from Williams College with a BA in Economics and he earned an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Tom is responsible for managing program engagements and building long-term relationships with Anova’s financial services clients. He is an experienced leader in the retirement plan services business.

During his 40 year career, he has been responsible for most aspects of the qualified and non-qualified retirement plan business including relationship management, ERISA DC and DB consulting and compliance services, participant services, technology, and plan administration. He also has managed the relationship of several large institutional financial services clients.

Prior to joining Anova, Tom worked at DST Retirement Solutions, New York Life Investment Management, ADQ, and New England Life.

Tom earned his BA in Mathematics From Plymouth State University. He also is an Enrolled Actuary.

Sarah has been with Anova Consulting since 2011, and is currently responsible for client engagements, where she partners with clients to ensure research programs are customized to meet their unique needs. She focuses on ensuring program findings are strategic and actionable and specializes in pinpointing key insights and trends in executive presentations. Sarah is also responsible for the research team’s hiring and training across all programs.

Sarah has conducted interviews with over 3,500 executives in the financial services, technology, healthcare, and professional services industries. She has extensive experience working on win/loss, departed client, client satisfaction, and advisor perception programs.

Prior to joining Anova, Sarah served as a consultant to start-up companies, helping the founders manage the process from idea to launch. Sarah has over 20 years of professional experience with financial services, technology, and telecommunications companies where she has created and executed detailed business plans, analyzed new business opportunities, and valued multi-billion dollar acquisitions and strategic joint ventures. Sarah grew up in Connecticut and now lives with her husband, three daughters, and two dogs in a suburb of Boston.

Sarah received a BA in Mathematics with honors from Bowdoin College and an MBA in Finance from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

Zach focuses his work on ensuring program findings are strategic and actionable for his clients. He partners with clients to ensure research guides are customized to their unique needs and specializes in aggregating and analyzing program data to pinpoint key insights and trends in executive presentations. Additionally, Zach is involved in business development for Anova, managing the Company’s branding and marketing efforts and his research has been featured in industry publications.

Prior to joining Anova, Zach spent time working in a sales analytics role with Sun Life Financial and also honed his research and management consulting skills working with ClearEdge Partners, the University of Connecticut School of Business, and various non-profit organizations in Boston.

Zach grew up in Connecticut before coming to Massachusetts for school. He lives in downtown Boston and is a passionate fan of the sports teams in the city.

Zach graduated Cum Laude from Babson College, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Management.

Pamela is responsible for managing client engagements and building long-term relationships with Anova’s clients. She has over 16 years of financial services, consulting and thought leadership experience.

Prior to joining Anova, Pamela spent ten years at IBM, including five years in banking and financial markets consulting and five years as a program manager in thought leadership in IBM’s Institute for Business Value. Among the projects she oversaw was the recurring Global C-suite Study, which focuses on gathering insights from in-depth interviews with senior executives. Earlier in her career, she worked in Private Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch.

Pamela grew up in Concord, MA and currently lives in the Greater Boston area with her husband and two young sons.

Pamela earned a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University and a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University, where she was a recipient of the Roy H. Park Leadership Fellowship.
