Richard M. Schroder
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Rich founded Anova Consulting Group in 2004. He is dedicated to ensuring that Anova provides the strategic insights clients need to make continuous improvement in the areas of product development, marketing, sales and client service.
Rich is a recognized thought leader in the business to business sales and client satisfaction sector and he is a sought-after speaker who has published many highly-regarded articles in professional journals. He also is the author of “From a Good Sales Call to a Great Sales Call,” which focuses on win loss analysis. Published by McGraw-Hill, the book is available internationally and has recently been translated into Mandarin.
Prior to founding Anova Consulting Group, Rich served as managing director at Chatham Partners, a market research and consulting firm. In that capacity, he was responsible for business development and client relationship management. He previously held positions at State Street Corporation and H.C. Wainwright.
Rich and his wife have two young children and live in the Greater Boston area. The son of an international banker, as a youth, he traveled extensively and lived in a number of countries in the Middle East and Africa. In his free time, he enjoys fitness training and playing basketball and he has run two marathons. Rich is also a musician and songwriter. Before entering the business world he toured the country as a guitarist and vocalist in a band.
Rich is a graduate of Boston College, where he earned a BS in Finance, with honors. He holds an MBA, also with honors, from the Babson Graduate School of Business.
Heather B. Jenkins Managing Partner
Heather oversees all of Anova’s market research programs and is responsible for the design, execution and analysis phases of our work. From project kickoff to the presentation of our findings, she is focused on the delivery of high-quality, actionable research and analysis.
Prior to joining Anova, Heather served as director of client services at Chatham Partners. In that capacity, she was responsible for managing projects, supervising teams of analysts and managing client relationships. Earlier in her career, she worked at SunLife Financial.
Heather and her husband live in Boston and have three young daughters. She is an active volunteer with several non-profit organizations and is chairman of the board of the Good Shepherd School in Charlestown, Massachusetts, a bilingual school she helped establish in 2009 in response to community need.
Heather is a graduate of Colby College where she earned a BA in Economics and Mathematics, with honors.
Andrew M. Cloutier
Andrew is responsible for building and managing long-term relationships with Anova’s clients, using his strategy background to provide a highly consultative approach to market research.
Prior to joining Anova, Andrew worked in the internal consulting group at Fidelity Investments, partnering with senior leaders across the company to address strategy development and business transformation challenges. Earlier in his career, he was a consultant at Bain & Company, working on strategy engagements in a number of industries and functional areas.
Andrew graduated from Williams College with a BA in Economics and he earned an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Thomas A. Clough
Executive Engagement Manager
Tom is responsible for managing program engagements and building long-term relationships with Anova’s financial services clients. He is an experienced leader in the retirement plan services business.
During his 40 year career, he has been responsible for most aspects of the qualified and non-qualified retirement plan business including relationship management, ERISA DC and DB consulting and compliance services, participant services, technology, and plan administration. He also has managed the relationship of several large institutional financial services clients.
Jeannine S. Kulsick
Director, Employee Engagement
Jeannine joined Anova at its inception and continues to bring 25 years of client relationship management, business strategy, and sales experience to the firm. She has contributed in many areas from participating in and leading the executive interview team to human resources and employee development. Today, Jeannine focuses on Anova’s employees, caring for their training, development, and other HR experiences. She also plays a key role on Anova’s marketing team, strategizing content for articles and podcasts as well as marketplace education webinars.
Prior to joining the firm, Jeannine was Director of Client Relationship Management for Authoria, Inc., a leading enterprise software provider. She also served as Assistant Vice President of Operations for American Finance Group, a lease financing and financial services institution.
Jeannine is a graduate of St. Michael’s College where she earned a BA in Modern Languages, with honors.
